Talk: Peabody Essex Museum rep

Gordon Wilkins, the Assistant Curator for Exhibitions and Research at the Peabody Essex Museum (PEM) in Salem, will be the guest speaker at 10 a.m. for WWLL’s “Greater Boston Cultural Institutions” class at the Unitarian Universalist Society in Wellesley (309 Washington Street). Wilkins is currently working on the reinstallation of the museum’s renowned collection of Asian export art as well as future installations of PEM’s photography collection in preparation of the opening of PEM’s newest expansion project. The WWLL fall term is wrapping up, but senior residents of all local towns are welcome to sample a class free of charge in possible consideration of enrollment during the spring semester, which begins March 5.
