“The C Word” comes to Wellesley
March 29, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
On Thursday, March 29, 2018 (7-8:40 PM) at the Wellesley Free Library (530 Washington Street, Wellesley), the Wellesley Cancer Prevention Project and the Library are jointly sponsoring a screening of “THE C WORD” – a documentary film narrated by Morgan Freeman, and directed by Meghan O’Hara (who’s made several films with Michael Moore including Fahrenheit 9/11, Bowling for Columbine, and SICKO). With a dose of good humor, heart, and a touch of rock-n’-roll beat, THE C WORD reveals the forces at play keeping us sick and dares to ask: if up to 70% of cancer deaths are preventable … what are we waiting for? CLICK HERE for a video preview of the film. A discussion will follow the screening. Please join us to find out how you & your family can lead a healthier life.
