Submit your event/s here. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob

The Folk Revolution of the 1960s with Art Grossman at the WFL
Sunday, October 11
2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Wakelin Room
Step back into the 1960s for The Folk Revolution of the 1960s, a live program blending performance and conversation. Hear iconic songs by Bob Dylan, Phil Ochs, Joni Mitchell, John Prine, Pete Seeger and others, and discover how folk music became the voice of civil rights, anti-war movements, and personal reflection.
Art Grossman has been playing guitar and singing since about 1960, and in the late 60s, started performing at the Sword in the Stone Coffeehouse on Charles Street in Boston’s Back Bay. Over the years he has played in many other local venues.
