Submit your event/s here. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob

‘The Kid From Boston’ documentary preview
A preview of “The Kid from Boston,” a documentary by Wellesley’s Alex Stoddard, will be screened at the Boston Film Festival on Saturday, Sept. 19. This will be its first Boston showing.
It’s the same preview that won Best Documentary Short at the NBA Summer League Film Festival in July.
“Holding a screening in Boston has been a goal since I started working on this project two years ago,” Stoddard writes. “It’s important to me that the community that raised and celebrated Terrence [Clarke] gets to see his story on the big screen. I’m especially excited for the teammates, coaches, friends and family members who were a part of his journey to get the chance to celebrate him together in this moment. This won’t be the last time.”
