Submit your event/s. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob

Upton Bell to speak about his life in football, including with the Patriots
April 30, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Free
Upton Bell takes to the sports soapbox in Wellesley as the guest speaker of Wellesley-Weston Lifetime Learning (WWLL). Known widely for his work as a local talk-show host and former general manager of the New England Patriots, Bell now has a new book out about his life in football titled “Present at the Creation.” His talk is open to seniors from all communities and is part of WWLL’s hour-long History Potpourri class, which is held at the Unitarian Universalist Society at 309 Washington Street in Wellesley Hills. Bell will not be selling books, but he will sign books for those who bring their own copies. Because Wellesley-Weston Lifetime Learning encourages seniors to sample two free class sessions each semester, there is no charge to attend Upton Bell’s talk. For questions about WWLL course offerings, see the wwllcourses.org website, send emails to [email protected], or call (781-205-4204).
