Wellesley Choral Society’s first concert of the season
The Wellesley Choral Society, under the direction of Edward Whalen, will present its first concert of the 2025-2026 season on Sunday, Nov. 16, at 3pm at the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church, 207 Washington St. The theme of the concert is “Mysterious Unknowns.” The music performed will be Vaughn Williams, Toward the Unknown Region; Brahms, A German Requiem (selections); and Whalen, The Listeners & Sprite Night. The choral group will be accompanied on piano by Hisako Hiratsuka, an ensemble of strings, winds, and horns, and professional soloists.
The Wellesley Hills Congregational Church is accessible and there is ample parking. Tickets may be purchased online or at the door: general admission $20, seniors and students $15, ages 12 and under are free. The Choral Society has donated a limited number of free tickets to the Wellesley Council on Aging at the Tolles-Parson Center, 500 Washington St. Please call 781-235-3961 to see if tickets are still available.
