EVENT: Wellesley in the Revolution: A Walking Tour of the Wellesley Village Church Burial Grounds

LOCATION: Meeting Point, Wellesley Village Church Burial Ground, Church Street, Wellesley, MA 02482
DESCRIPTION: This special walking tour will uncover the stories of Revolutionary War veterans and early Wellesley residents who lived through the nation’s founding era. Established in 1777, the Village Church Burial Ground is the final resting place of some of those who helped shape our town and its role in the fight for independence. As the country commemorates 250 years since the Revolution, this is a perfect time to reflect on our local connections to this pivotal moment in history.
COST: The tour is free for Wellesley Historical Society Members and $10 for non-members
