Submit your event/s here. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob
Wellesley Society of Artists presents talk—“Eyes Open to Color”
Join the Wellesley Society of Artists in partnership with the Wellesley Free Library for — Sunday, October 18, 2026, at 2:00-3:30pm in the Wakelin Room, Wellesley Free Library. Please join us for light refreshments and conversation beginning at 1:30pm.
This talk will analyze the properties of color: how a specific color is influenced by those surrounding it; and how to manipulate color. Although structured with the artist in mind, this is of interest to anyone who uses color or just wishes to see color with more understanding.
This program is made possible by a generous grant from the Wellesley Cultural Council.
