DESCRIPTION:Jon and Li Waterman will perform “A Journey through the Roots of American Popular Music” at Wellesley Free Library at 530 Washington St. in Wellesley on Sunday\, April 19 at 2pm. \nThe program consists of original songs and history\, and explores some of the fascinating characters and events at the roots of the blues\, country\, rock and other genres of American popular music. \nThe show also touches on the darker side of American popular music as well as how music helps shape our identity as a people.
