Wellesley Choral Society

The Wellesley Choral Society under the direction of Edward Whalen is a non-audition chorus, open to singers of high school age and older. All voice parts are welcome. Members are from Wellesley and many other MetroWest communities. The Society performs a variety of music from traditionally classical to world premieres, and popular music at the upcoming Winter Cabaret.

Wellesley Symphony Orchestra
The Wellesley Symphony Orchestra in 2023-24 is celebrating its 75th anniversary season. That’s a lot of beautiful music the venerable group has sent out over the years, and they’re not done. Led by music director Mark Latham, the orchestra-in-residence at MassBay Community College holds six concerts per year.

Wellesley Town Band
From its humble beginnings, with just thirteen eager recruits gathering in fall 2013, the Wellesley Town Band has grown to around fifty musicians. Players of all ages (grade 8 up) are welcome, and no auditions are required.
The band is led by legendary Wellesley Schools Band Director, Henry Platt. The repertoire is traditional concert band fare: light classics, favorite show tunes, movie music, and stirring marches.
