An independent boarding and day school for girls in grades 5-12 (boarding begins grade 9). Tuition for the 2025-2026 school year is $77,975 for boarding students and $63,850 for day students. That represents an increase of 4% for boarding students, and 5% for day students from 2024-25 rates.
There are additional fees for horseback riding lessons, private music instruction and any outside, private academic tutoring, if needed. 25% of students receive financial aid. The school’s average grant is $44,135 ($59,944 for boarding students, $35,072 for day students), and families’ incomes vary greatly, from $10,000 to $500,000.

Tuition for the 2024-25 school year for grades K-12 is $23,820, a whopping almost 15% increase. An after-care program and activities are priced separately.

A private, coed school for pre-kindergarten to grade 6. Tenacre offers a dynamic and exciting environment in which children progressively develop critical thinking skills, become confident and joyful learners, and move forward into higher education and life as caring citizens.
2023-24 Comprehensive Tuition includes: tuition, materials, books, supplies, field trips, assemblies, mid-morning snack, and lunch (for grades K–6, Monday through Thursday). Tuition ranges from $36,520 for kindergarten up to 46,520 for grade 6.
