A Sponsored Post on The Swellesley Report consists of 250 words and two pictures. The post is written to the advertiser’s specifications by a Swellesley reporter. The advertiser sees the post and has the option to make changes before it goes live. We generally go back and forth a couple of times with Sponsored Posts. The process is easy and fun.
A Sponsored Post is sticky as our top post for one day (approximately 9am – 5pm), then drops down the site as we get new stories. However, the Sponsored Post stays on the front page for its entire one-week run.
We clearly label Sponsored Posts as such at the top of the post.
