There will be a Special Town Election on Tuesday, December 9 to consider debt exclusion questions to fund capital projects for Fiske and Schofield elementary schools, and Wellesley Middle School window replacement.

Ballot Questions are:

Question 1
Shall the Town of Wellesley be allowed to exempt from the provisions of Proposition two-and-one-half, so called, the amounts required to pay for the bonds issued in order to fund the design, construction, reconstruction, remodeling, rehabilitation, modernization and additions to the Fiske Elementary School at 45 Hastings Street and the Schofield Elementary School at 27 Cedar Street?

Question 2

Shall the Town of Wellesley be allowed to exempt from the provisions of Proposition two-and-one-half, so called, the amounts required to pay for the bonds issued in order to fund the costs associated with the replacement of approximately 280 original windows at Wellesley Middle School located at 40 Kingsbury Street?

The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at all regular polling locations in Wellesley, as follows:

Absentee Ballots

Voters unable to go to polls due to absence from town or disability may apply for an absentee ballot. To get the form, either stop by Town Hall or apply in writing to Town Clerk Kathleen Nagle. Applications for an absentee ballot must include the voter’s name and voting address and instructions as to where to send the ballot, and an original signature. All absentee ballots are counted at the polling places on election day.
