We strive to provide accurate, up-to-date information on The Swellesley Report.
If we have an error pointed out to us via theswellesleyreport@gmail.com, we’ll shoot to address it within 24 hours. Typically, much sooner than 24 hours.
In most cases, we’ll just fix the error if it is minor and not leave any trace of the mistake.
If it’s a more significant error, we’ll note within the post that we made a correction.
In the case of an entire post being wrong, we’ll likely remove it and post a retraction separately that refers to the post. This is case by case, and not something we’ve had to do to date.
There’s of course a distinction between a mistake and a difference of opinion. In those cases where we feel confident our post is accurate, but you feel differently, you’re welcome to make a comment on our post through the commenting system.
Finally, we have numerous pages on our site on which information may become outdated over time (for example, if a restaurant listed on our Where to Eat in Wellesley page closes). We really need to rely on our readers to help us keep these as fresh as possible, so please message us if you see outdated information. We’re happy to update this content.
