DESCRIPTION:The Babson Players’ Present \nRodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella\nMusic by Richard Rodgers \nLyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II\nNew Book By Douglas Carter Beane\nOriginal Book By Oscar Hammerstein II \nApril 16\, 17\, 18 at 7pm  \nCarling Sorenson Theatre  \n\nThe 2013 Broadway production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella is a contemporary retelling of the classic fairy tale.  The story follows Cinderella\, forced into servitude by her cruel stepmother and selfish step-sisters\, who dreams of a better life.  Unlike many versions of the story\, this musical also weaves in themes of justice and compassion\, as Cinderella helps the prince see the unfairness in his kingdom and inspires him to care for his people. \nThis event is free and open to the public.  Registration is recommended.
