State Primary Election warrant is posted
The Massachusetts Primary Election will take place on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
The Election Warrant has been signed and posted on the the Town of Wellesley’s website. A hard copy is available in the Town Clerk’s Office (888 Worcester Street, Suite 140) and at the Wellesley Police Department (485 Washington Street).
Voters can check the Local Election Information webpages to view ballots and check voting locations.
On Election Day, polls will be open 7am-8pm for in-person voting.
If you would like to vote by mail and have not yet requested a Vote by Mail ballot for the State Primary, the last day to do so is Monday, August 24 at 5:00 p.m.

The Massachusetts Primary Election will take place on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
State Primary ballots have been mailed to all voters who requested to Vote by Mail. Please watch for your envelope.
Completed ballots are due no later than 8pm on Primary Day, Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Return your ballot earlier to make sure your vote counts.
Ballots may be returned via the US Postal Service, dropped off in person at the Town Clerk’s Office temporarily located at 888 Worcester Street, Suite 140, or delivered to the payment drop box at the Wellesley Police Department (485 Washington Street).
The last day to request a Vote by Mail ballot for the September 3, 2024 Primary Election is Monday August 24, 2024 at 5pm.
To find the status of your ballot request, go to the Secretary of State Track My Ballot Website. If it says “Pending”, your request has been received and a ballot will be mailed to you within a week of receipt.

The Massachusetts Primary Election will take place on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
Voters will cast primary ballots for the following statewide candidates:
- U.S. Senator
- U.S. Representative
- Governor’s Councillor
- State Senator
- State Representative
- Register of Deeds
- Clerk of Courts
- County Commissioner (certain counties only)
Vote by Mail applications have been sent to all registered Wellesley voters who did not already request a ballot. Many voters requested ballots for all elections earlier this year.
If you’re not sure if you requested a Vote by Mail ballot, please use the Massachusetts Secretary of State’s website to track your ballot.
The November Presidential and State election is Tuesday, November 5.
