Wellesley has no shortage of benches, though new ones get dedicated every year and are located at meaningful places by loved ones.

We mean no slight to anyone’s dedicated bench, and will mention just a few of those here, but we’ve tried to round up a variety of bench styles and locations to satisfy every type of rump.

Located on Central Street bordering Juniper’s outdoor dining area, this might be the town’s only public rocking bench.

 

Church St. bench, Wellesley
While this flowery Church Square bench once belonged to a shop called Terrazza that departed in 2017, the landlord bought it to provide locals a place to hunker down in this shopping area (seen here, pre-fading).
