Wellesley Business Buzz: Red Apple Convenience peels out; Page Waterman on the move; Babson branches out to Dubai

Here’s a roundup of the latest Wellesley, MA business news:

Red Apple Convenience peels out

We can’t count the number of times Swellesley readers have asked us over the years: “Is Red Apple still open?” They’ve noted that it had been closed for a few days with no signs indicating when or if the corner store across from the Wellesley Free Library would make its Slush Puppies, lottery tickets and whatever else was being sold there available again.

Well, this time the store appears to be very cleaned out.

Page Waterman Fine Framing on the move

Page Waterman, founded in 1917, has announced that it is moving from its Church Square location to 592a Washington St., where its headquarters and restoration studio have been located since 1983.

Naturally, the business is having a moving sale…

Babson branching out to Dubai

As part of one of the world’s richest countries in the world, Dubai’s probably not a bad place to try to set up shop for a college or any number of other businesses. Babson College has announced it will do just that to offer graduate and executive education programs for working professionals across the United Arab Emirates.

The Babson MBA – Dubai will be delivered in a blended online and face-to-face format starting in January.
