Rotary Club speaker: Wellesley’s own Michael Thorbjornsen, US Jr. Golf Champ

Michael Thorbjornsen, the Wellesley High School golfer who won the US Junior Amateur Championship in June 2018 then went on to participate in the US Open last summer, will be the Rotary Club’s featured speaker on Nov. 19, 6pm – 8pm, at the Wellesley College Club.

Thorbjornsen returned to Wellesley High this fall and helped to lead Wellesley High School’s boys golf team to its 4th straight Bay State Conference title.

He’s scheduled to graduate from high school next year and has verbally committed to attending Stanford University and playing golf there.

All are welcome for the light buffet and easy conversation beginning at 6:15pm followed by Thorbjornsen’s talk.
