Happy Labor Day weekend, Wellesley. Here’s what’s closed on and around this upcoming Monday, Sept. 2 federal holiday, which celebrates the achievements of American workers.

Public Schools—closed on Monday, Sept. 2

The Recycling and Disposal Facility—open for weekend hours on Saturday, Aug. 31. Closed all day on Sunday, Sept. 1 and Monday, Sept. 2.

Libraries (main, Fells, and Hills)—closed on Saturday, Aug. 31, Sunday, Sept. 1 and Monday, Sept. 2. Reopening regular hours on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Town Hall and town offices—closed on Monday, Sept. 2 for the Labor Day holiday. Regular business will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

NOTE: Town Hall returns to fall hours after Labor Day, which are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. (Some offices may follow a slightly adjusted schedule. Please check specific department webpages for information.)
