Be on the lookout for Knowledge Bridge students in front of Wellesley Roche Bros.
The crew from Knowledge Bridge, a venture started by Wellesley High students to tutor others, will be sharing information about their effort in front of Roche Bros. in Linden Square on Saturday, Oct. 4 from 12-4pm.
We wrote about Knowledge Bridge last year, and are glad to hear the program continues. It not only arranges for tutors, but trains tutors.
According to Wellesley High senior Dhruv Kasat, Knowledge Bridge has helped out about two dozen students. Among the biggest lessons learned in running Knowledge Bridge, Kasat says, is just how challenging it is to run a non-profit. “Through Knowledge Bridge, we all got an eye opening look at the ‘real world’ since we had all been in school, and this was unknown to us,” he says.
