Snow day Monday for Wellesley Public Schools

Wellesley Public Schools has made the early call: Monday, March 4 will be a snow day due to the expected snowstorm.

Superintendent David Lussier issued a statement: “After assessing the timing and likely impact of the incoming storm, I have determined that we cannot open schools safely tomorrow….] No staff should report to their buildings as we work to clear roads, sidewalks and parking lots.  Please remain safe everyone.”

The Recycling and Disposal Facility also is closed on Monday, March 14.

All non-essential Town Hall employees will start at 11am. The Clerk’s office will be open from 8am – 5pm. All meetings will take place as scheduled. Council on Aging and Recreation Department programs are cancelled.
