You just never know what you’ll discover at the Wellesley RDF re-usables area

The Wellesley Recycling & Disposal Facility’s give-and-take area, where people “turn trash into treasure,” got featured on WCVB-TV’s Chronicle TV show this week.

The roughly 2-minute segment highlights volunteers, users and RDF management. It notes the environmental benefits of reusing items rather than tossing them into landfill.

It fails to mention that one of the extra special things about this area is that you can pick up some really high end stuff, given that this is Wellesley and all.

The host emphasized that the RDF is for Wellesley residents only.
