The big tree at the house on the corner of Washington Street and Wellesley Avenue is about to get its annual Christmas makeover with those giant, colorful ornaments.
A decorating party at the Wellesley home is set for 10am-1pm on Saturday, Nov. 15, and the event will feature a 42-foot lift to get the high branches.
Owner Phil Gormley says people have expressed their appreciation over the years for the joy that the tree brings to them.
