An open house will be held for the Hardy Elementary School community only at the new building on Aug. 27 from 2-3pm.
A presentation at 2:45pm will cover drop-off and pick-up procedures.
A ribbon cutting ceremony for the Hardy community only will take place on the first day of school, Aug. 28.
Expect a wider public event later on in the year.

Posting as the WPS Coordinator for Community Engagement – It is stated above, but I want to emphasize this event is not meant for the broader community. It is for parents and students to get oriented the day before school starts.
There will be an open house/grand opening for the community later in the fall, when we will have a ceremony and open the building for self-guided tours. For now, we are focused on getting it up and running for school to open on Wednesday, August 28. We are so excited for this milestone and grateful to the Town for making it possible!

I hope there will be a chance to see the old Hardy School before the new one opens? It would be a dream come true to see the old Hardy school before the new school opens. It would be really neat to see the old school.

Hi John, Wellesley held a lights out event for Hardy in June for the public to say goodbye. The building has been razed over the summer.
