Amarin of Thailand restaurant lease expiring
The lease for 27 Grove St., in Wellesley, home to the Amarin of Thailand restaurant, will be available in fall 2025. Conviser Property Group has begun advertising the 2,770 sq. ft. space with possible outdoor seating as being available a year from now.
Amarin has been doing business in town at the Rotunda Building since 1990. We’ve reached out to the restaurant to get an update on its plans.

Comella’s announces franchising program
Comella’s, the family-owned Italian restaurant business with locations in Wellesley and 10 other Massachusetts spots, has started a franchising program.
Per Comella’s franchise web page, “The franchise fee for a Comella’s is $10,000 which is included in the minimum estimated cost of $182,150 to open.”
Comella’s has been in business for more than 35 years.
Agnes Vision moves nearby
Agnes Vision of Wellesley has moved its eyeglasses and frames shop from 582 to 576 Washington St., as FIXT Dental expands its space.

I will be so bummed out if Amarin leaves. They moved into Wellesley just as I was graduating from college there. I’ve been back just about every reunion. I know they had a tough time in the pandemic.
