The latest Wellesley, Mass., business news:
Get cozy with Church Square’s Gray Heron blanket pop-up
Gray Heron, a pop-up store at 24 Church Street, is offering blankets and pillows made from material that it boasts are lightweight and impeccably designed in restful colors (to get more technical, the material is Global Organic Textile Standard, or GOTS, certified cotton muslin).
Founder Sarah Wilson was inspired to start the business after it dawned on her that adults would enjoy the same comfort benefits babies get from their breathable swaddling blankets.
Gray Heron sells blankets for everyone from infants to adults, with monogramming available on site for in-store purchases. Lightweight and more substantial varieties are available.
The merchandise is designed in Boston and made in India.
