Congrats to the Wellesley High School girls swim & dive team for winning its fifth straight MIAA Division 2 state title over the weekend (there was no title in 2020 due to the pandemic).
The Raiders dominated the meet with a deep lineup that piled up 384 points, far ahead of runner-up North Andover, with 225 points.
More on the meet, which took place at Boston University.

In other Wellesley High sports, the girls cross country team finished a close second behind Westford Academy in the MIAA Divisional Meet at Northfield Mountain, and way ahead of every other team.
Sisters Charlotte, Emma & Maddie Tuxbury led the way for Wellesley, individually finishing 1st, 3rd & 4th respectively.
The boys also ran well, placing 5th in their meet.
Also, still alive in the postseason are the girls soccer team (home against Newton North on 11/12 in a round of 8 match), the field hockey team (in final four matchup vs Andover at Burlington on 11/13), and the football team (in round of 8 matchup vs Bishop Feehan on 11/15).
