The Santa inflatables trend really blew up in Wellesley’s College Heights neighborhood last holiday season, with about two dozen 9-foot versions of the jolly old elf towering over lawns (see “So-So-So many inflatable Santas ‘Ho-Ho-Ho’ in Wellesley neighborhood”).
This year, the Santas are back in the area between Weston Road and Linden Street, and some are even bigger. We’ve spied 20-footers who will seriously be challenged to squeeze down chimneys on Christmas Eve.
It came as no surprise that the Santas would be back, despite some of their motors petering out. We were warned they’d be coming…
