The Wellesley Council on Aging kicked off the New Year on Jan. 2 with a comedy show featuring local legend Steve Sweeney, who performed before a full house at the Tolles Parsons Center.
The Boston native delivered a set filled with relatable anecdotes—including his time on a dating app for seniors—and local flavor.
In addition to his storied career in stand-up comedy, Sweeney is no stranger to the big screen, having appeared in hit movies such as “There’s Something About Mary,” “Me, Myself & Irene,” and “The Equalizer.”
