EVENT: 25th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day program lunch celebration

SPEAKER: Dr. Kellie Carter Jackson, Chair of Africana Studies at Wellesley College and author of Force & Freedom and We Refuse. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic, and Netflix documentaries, and she co-hosts the podcast This Day in Political Esoteric History. An award-winning historian and storyteller, she has also served as Historian-in-Residence for Boston’s Museum of African American History.

This program consists of two parts, a ticketed keynote speech, a discussion segment, and lunch from 12 noon to 3 PM. The event will be held at Tishman Commons on Wellesley College campus. Parking is available in the Davis Parking Lot. Wellesley College is ADA compliant.
