The Wellesley Society of Artists has named winners of its Annual Library Show, which was on display through November.
This show featured the artwork of over 40 members and was judged by artist educator Julie Beck.
First place went to John Sherffius for “Block Island Storm.”
Janet Montecalvo took second with “Homage to Jamie” and Pilar Figueira earned third with “Serene.”
Naomi Wilsey won the Margaret Fitzwilliam Award for Excellence in Watercolor with “Float Together” and Johan Ellefsen received the Yale Nicolls Award for Best Interpretation of the Natural World for “Canadaway Creek, NY.”
