To the editor:
I am truly honored to have the opportunity to serve our town on the Select Board. The March 4 election was about more than just one candidate—it was about ensuring that Wellesley’s leadership reflects the values and priorities of our entire community. I want to thank everyone who participated in this process, whether by voting, engaging in discussions, or sharing their perspectives. Your involvement is what makes our town stronger.
I also want to extend my sincere appreciation to Michael and Odessa for running strong campaigns. Our town benefits when individuals step forward, contribute their ideas, and engage in meaningful conversations about Wellesley’s future. While we may have had different perspectives, I deeply respect their dedication to our community and the hard work they put into the race.
I want to give a special thank you to my family and campaign team for their unwavering support throughout this journey. Running for office is never a solo effort, and I could not have done this without their patience, encouragement, and sacrifices along the way.
To the entire community, thank you for your trust. Whether you supported me or not, I will work to represent and listen to all residents. I am committed to bringing people together, considering all perspectives, and making thoughtful decisions that serve the best interests of our town.
This is just the beginning of the work ahead, and I look forward to serving Wellesley and working alongside all of you to make our community even stronger.
Respectfully,
Kenny Largess
