Barber Walters offers to help schools
The Barber Walters barbershop in Wellesley has announced that it will be making donations to any fundraising auctions coming this Spring to local schools. They are donating gift cards for haircuts and shaves, along with some product care packages. So far they’ve donated to the Hardy, Schofield, and Fiske schools.

Papa Razzi parent company donates $71K
Newport Restaurant Group, which includes Wellesley’s Papa Razzi restaurant, has donated $71,000 to local nonprofits through its 2024 gift card donation program. The program directs $2 from each gift card purchase to area non-profits fighting food insecurity.
The 2024 recipients include the Brookline Food Pantry, The Food Project, and Centre Street Food Pantry in Massachusetts and the Aquidneck Community Table, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, RI Community Food Bank, and Hope’s Harvest in Rhode Island. Centre Street Food Pantry is located in Newton and also serves residents of Wellesley, Brookline, Needham, Waltham, and Watertown.
Newport Restaurant Group employees also volunteer with these organizations.
