Weather Outlook: July 17 to July 25

After one final burst of heat and humidity on Thursday, a cold front ushers in a more comfortable and seasonable pattern. Friday and Saturday look beautiful with sunshine, drier air, and lower dew points. A brief uptick in humidity returns Sunday with clouds and the chance for scattered showers. Early next week features pleasant summer weather with sunshine and average July temperatures. By mid to late week, warmth and humidity slowly build again, with a few chances for afternoon storms as another front approaches.

Thursday, July 17 – Still hot, storm chance late
The heat and humidity continue for one more day, with highs near 90°F and heat index values pushing the mid-90s. While the morning stays dry and hazy, a cold front approaches by late afternoon, bringing the potential for scattered thunderstorms, some possibly strong, especially west of I-95.
