Submit your event/s here. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob
Illustrator visit—Rich Davis coming to Wellesley Free Library
September 11 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Come meet illustrator Rich Davis on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 3:30pm-4:30pm, at the Wellesley Free Library, and learn how he creates his books, from working with the author to final product.
Registration required starting September 2.
Everyone attending will get to participate in a very fun activity with Mr. Rich and you will see how amazingly creative you are!
Davis is known for his books about Tiny, the Big Dog and is joining us to promote his new book, Be Strong: The Rise of Beloved Public Art Sculptor, Nancy Schon, about the sculptor who created the Wellesley Free Library’s sculpture “Reach for Knowledge”.
At the end there will be a drawing for a couple of prizes from Mr. Davis. It’s going to be super fun for all ages.
