Submit your event/s here. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob

Making Sense of AI in Education: Understanding What Matters Most

Join the Wellesley Education Foundation in welcoming Greg Kulowiec for a discussion about AI.
About the Event:
AI emerged nearly three years ago and all learners and educators became members of an experiment that no one was prepared for. This presentation is designed to help parents and guardians better understand the technology, the impact on the learner, their brain, and both the risks and opportunities presented by generative AI. Presented from the lens of a parent and educator, Greg will help families enhance their understanding to be prepared to have better conversations around the technology.
This session will run for 60 minutes with a 30 minute Q&A following the presentation.
Free to attend, but limited to parents and caregivers (no students please).
Please RSVP
