Submit your event/s here. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob
Restorative Yoga class, in-person and free
September 7 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Everyone is welcome to join in a free, in-person restorative yoga class on Saturday, Sept. 7, 10am-11am, at the Wellesley Free Library. Register here.
Restorative yoga is a passive, meditative form of yoga that allows you to focus on your breath while releasing tension in your body. This type of yoga helps you quiet the mind, as you let go and allow stillness to come. This class is inclusive of all ages, levels and abilities. Students need to bring a blanket, water and eye cover.
Manuela is a certified yoga teacher with a deep passion for people and healing. Over her many years of practicing and teaching yoga, Manuela has developed a unique approach that combines ancient traditions with modern insights tailored to the needs and goals of each student.
