Submit your event/s here. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob
Wellesley Garden Study Club: All About Dahlias
October 16 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Dahlias can be the most beautiful flowers of late summer and early fall, ranging from sturdy tiny blossoms to dinner-plate sized attractions. But dahlias are tricky in New England, where they must be dug up and stored inside each winter. Learn how to master these finicky flowers at the Wellesley Garden Study Club’s first lecture of the fall, “All About Dahlias,” led by club member and horticulturist Liz Larson.
Do you enjoy gardening and want to learn how to get more out of your flowerbeds? Wellesley Garden Study Club has openings for new members. This year’s program includes design tours, holiday wreath-making, and garden design. Questions: wellesleygardenstudyclub24@gmail.com.
