Rachel McGregor, the interim principal at Fiske Elementary School in Wellesley for the current school year, has been appointed as permanent principal now. She was selected from a pool of 53 applicants.
McGregor previously served as the Department Head of Literacy and the K-5 Coordinator of Literacy for Wellesley Public Schools. Prior to that, she was a Literacy Specialist in Wellesley for 11 years. During that time she worked at the Upham, Sprague, Hunnewell and Schofield Schools. Before that, she worked in the Framingham Public School system.
McGregor is concluding a three-year term on the Dedham School Committee.
