Crane & Lion, which sells mainly stretchy clothes that help make your whole world a yoga studio, is prepping to open a location this month at the former Talbots spot in Wellesley Square. Talbots left 50 Central St., in Wellesley Square back in early 2017 to move into its current space in Linden Square.
While Crane & Lion might sound like an English pub (if only…), it truly is a women’s clothing store. It describes itself as “the luxury yoga lifestyle brand for women who are awake and active in the world. Born at the intersection of fashion and fitness, our workout apparel and sumptuous separates are made for your dynamic life and keep you moving throughout your day.” Whew, exhausting.
Tank tops on the website go for $50-$80, with some markdowns, while sweatshirts and sweaters fetch between the low $100s and mid-$300s.
And yes, Crane & Lion has locations on Charles Street on Beacon Hill and Centre Street on Nantucket. Why do I feel like we’ve written that before about other businesses in Wellesley?
If you’re interested in working at Crane & Lion, they’re hiring, including a store manager and part-time sales associates (info@craneandlion.com).
