I didn’t quite get the money shot this year outside Wasik’s Cheese Shop at either 9am or 11AM. The line only stretched to about Wellesley Toy Shop two storefronts down when I swung by for the second time.
Apparently 9:30am was the time to get there for a classic photo, one employee working the line that was there at 11am said, as the store opened at 10. The line earlier swelled another few storefronts down at that point.
Meanwhile, down in lower falls, a brave turkey was taking in the sights.
This turkey has been hanging around the Lower Falls area of late, “peering into businesses, wandering around CVS, and stalking delivery trucks,” writes reader Jean Bae, who shared this photo. (The bird’s antics have been the topic of much discussion on the What’s Up Wellesley Facebook group.).
