Wellesley Public Schools keeping tabs on expected Thursday morning snow

From Wellesley Public Schools:

Dear Members of the WPS Community,

We continue to monitor the forecasts for the winter storm expected to arrive in the area tomorrow, which could have a significant impact on our school operations.  Even small adjustments to the forecast could significantly change whether school will open as usual tomorrow, whether we will require an early release day, or whether there will be no school.

In consultation with our Department of Public Works, I anticipate making a decision and notifying our community tomorrow morning between 4:30am-5:00am on our ability to open schools safely.  I ask that our families and staff prepare for each of the aforementioned scenarios.
