E.A. Davis has officially gone Hollywood this week. The typically staid department store is the site of for shooting scenes for the upcoming movie Daddy’s Home 2, starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg. Here are a few pics of today’s excitement (and sudden dearth of parking spaces ) in the Square:
The classic Wellesley department store will be closed Monday through Wednesday (March 27-29), so plan accordingly for your spring shopping trip to stock up on Lily Pulitzer and Vineyard Vines.
The original Daddy’s Home from 2015 is a comedy about a biological dad and stepdad tussling for the love of a family, with Ferrell playing the nerdy stepdad and Wahlberg the tough guy biological dad. The sequel, according to movie site IMDB, will also feature Linda Cardellini, Mel Gibson, John Cena, John Lithgow and others. The film is slated to be released in November and promises to include a holiday theme.
