Wellesley Police: Driver crashes into tree on Forest Street, suffers ‘significant injuries’

From the Wellesley Police Department:

On Friday, August 1, 2025, at 3:12 p.m. the Wellesley Police Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call for a single car crash on Forest Street between Abbott Road and Berkshire Road.

The vehicle was traveling north on Forest Street when it veered off the roadway and collided with a tree. There was a single male occupant of the vehicle who suffered significant injuries.

Upon arrival the responding officers and firefighters found that the single male occupant was entrapped in the vehicle. Entry was made into the vehicle by emergency personnel on scene, the male party was extricated and transported to an area hospital.

Forest Street between Abbott Road and Berkshire Road will remain closed while the Wellesley Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit investigates.

There is no further information available at this time.
