Jordan Hoffman, who resigned as principal of Schofield Elementary School late last year, has resurfaced as the interim principal at Natick’s Bennett-Hemenway Elementary School starting Aug. 11.
Wellesley Public Schools earlier this year named Dr. Stephen Goodwin as interim principal for Schofield for 2025-2016. He succeeds interim principal Elaine Harold, who stepped in when Hoffman resigned after 2.5 years as principal following a medical leave.
As part of the local principalship carousel, Hoffman slides into a role in Natick vacated by Karen Ghilani, who was named principal of Natick’s Memorial Elementary School following the departure of that school’s principal for unspecified reasons.
This marks a return to the Natick Public Schools system for Hoffman. The Natick resident served as principal of Johnson Elementary School from 2016 to 2022 (that school closed in 2024) and led the district’s K-4 Remote Learning Academy during the COVID-19 pandemic. She started as a teacher in Natick.
