From the Council on Aging:
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to join the Wellesley Council on Aging in celebrating its first ever Grandparent’s Day event on September 8th at 3:00pm in Henderson Hall at the Wellesley Community Center. Attendees will enjoy a narrated performance by the dancers of the North Shore Performing Arts Center (NSPAC). Come and listen to David Ira Rottenberg, author of Gwendolyn Goes to Hollywood, as he brings his picture book to life through the interpretation of NSPA dancers. After the narration, dancers will engage with the youth to dance to the music and the author will sign copies of his book. This performance is geared towards children ages 8 and under, accompanied by grandparents or others, but all are welcome. Call to register at 781-235-3961! If you need a ride, call our Volunteer Driver’s Program 508-479-9301.
