Submit your event/s here. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob

Centennial Reservation Trail Walk
May 4 @ 9:00 am - 10:15 am
Centennial Reservation Trail Walk on Saturday, May 4 from 9-10:15 am.
Explore conservation land purchased by the town for Wellesley’s 1981 Centennial Celebration. Take a picturesque walk with the Wellesley Trails Committee in the woodlands and rolling meadows to the top of Maugus Hill, one of the highest points in Wellesley. From the top of the upper meadow, view the Great Blue Hills in Canton.
Free. No registration is required. Most walks cover 1.5 to 2 miles and last about one hour. Participants are encouraged to wear sturdy footwear.
Walks take place unless it pours rain or there are high winds.
Meet at the Centennial Reservation trailhead at the top of Maugus Ave. (For GPS, use 88 Maugus Ave., Wellesley) Directions: Take Maugus Avenue, which starts off Washington Street at Clock Tower Park, to the cul-de-sac trailhead. Park along the roadway (not on the grass).
