For anyone who has ever wanted to play golf at Nehoiden Golf Club at Wellesley College, an opportunity has just arrived. On Monday morning, October 6, the Wellesley Historical Society will be holding its 2014 Golf Tournament, which is open to the public for a contribution of $50 per player. The fee includes a continental breakfast, greens fees, 18 holes of golf, lunch, and prizes.
Interested golfers should note that there are no golf carts and that playing Nehoiden means an invigorating walk punctuated by a few steep hills.
Breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the format will be a scramble with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. To sign up or for more information, contact Erica Dumont at (781) 235-6690 or e-mail her at director@wellesleyhistoricalsociety.org.
