July 25, 2018 by Deborah Brown Leave a Comment

The two drivers involved in a crash outside Needham High School that killed two teenagers in February were indicted on Tuesday on felony motor vehicle homicide charges, The Boston Globe has reported. One of the drivers was identified as a Wellesley resident according to Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey’s office.

On Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 6pm Talia Newfield, 16, and Adrienne Garrido, 17, were killed in as they walked in a crosswalk on Webster Street near the school.

With the criminal charges came the first time the drivers have been publicly named. There is no additional information at this time as to why the drivers are criminally charged, and is there is not yet an arraignment date.

A Norfolk County grand jury indicted Dania Antoine-Guiteau, 52, of Wellesley on one charge of manslaughter and one charge of negligent motor vehicle homicide, according to Morrissey’s office.

The second driver, Robert Berry, 65, of Needham, was indicted on charges of negligent motor vehicle homicide and two counts of aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
